By default, Windows XP Explorer system “detailed view” directly show the file size, but does not display the size of the folder space. if it is able to directly show the size of a folder, then we Each one will be able to see the space occupied by file directory size. In fact, we can use of TotalSize to solve this problem.
After download and install TotalSize (Download: http://www.cpcw.com/bzsoft), open the Explorer, the implementation of the menu “View → Choose Details” in the choice of detailed information to open a list window, drag down the slider to find “TotalSize” and check it, OK, then exit. This after the Explorer to “Details” view mode, it will be more a “TotalSize”, it will display complete information on all documents, including the size of the folder (Figure).
In this way we can see a disk space occupied by each file, and no longer have to conduct tedious searches viewed.
Tip: turn click on “Start → Programs → TotalSize”, select “TotalSize manger”, you can open the Settings dialog box option to set the parameters in detail. Of course, you can also open “InternerFileSize” dialog box, links to specific web pages to detect the size of the file.
